About Special Guard

Every client has different security concerns. Our team works with you to find the risks at your site, set clear goals and choose the security measures that fit.

Our officers are honourably discharged ex-servicemen or experienced private security personnel. Each one is selected for attitude and ability, goes through background and criminal record screening, and is trained before posting.

We aim to build long-term partnerships with our clients, protecting lives and property with professional security measures.

Major Manupriya Senanayake (Retd) RWP, psc, SLSR

Director Operations and founder

Joined the Sri Lanka Army as an Officer Cadet in 1988 and served in the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. Retired as a Major in 2009 after 20 years of service, including a commando training and parachute trooper background and a UN peace support operations course. Awarded the Ranawickrama Medal. Held staff appointments at Army Headquarters and Joint Operations Headquarters, and served at the Sri Lanka Military Academy and Kotelawala Defence University. Holds an MBA from London Business School.
